- Whisk the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth and well-blended consistency.
- If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it with a little water, adding a teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and Adjust:
- Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning to your preference.
- You can add more honey for sweetness, soy sauce for saltiness, or rice vinegar for tanginess.
- Store:
- Transfer the hoisin sauce to an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator.
